Standard Love
This is an old set that I posted on my blog over a year ago but it is also a snippet from my new book, Erotic Interludes, so I thought I would bring this series back to give a general idea of the contents of the book. The cover of the book is actually the wallpaper inside the hotel room at the Standard, where I shot this series. Instead of using one of my erotic images for the cover, to grab everyone's attention, I thought it would be more interesting to use the wallpaper; for one, so you will open the book to see what goes on within the walls of the Erotic Interludes, and secondly, it gives a sense of secrecy, as if you are viewing the contents of a naughty diary. To see more previews from the book, click on link to Erotic Interludes. There are 160 pages of naughtiness.

Erotic Interludes
Several years ago, I worked on a series of erotica just for a switch up from my norm. That went on for about a year and then I went back to my fine art nudes. Since then, these images have just been sitting in my hard drive so I thought it was about time to dust them off and do something with them. I have put together a compilation of my erotic work into a coffee table book that is available through Blurb. It seem that at that time, so many people were intrigued by my erotica and I was also amazed by how many models who would open up for this type of project. Models that I could not get to do fine art nudes were coming out the wood works for erotica. There are 160 pages of naughtiness between the Standard Hotel wallpaper book covers. Click below for a preview and to order the book and see another side to my work. Erotic Interludes

I love these images so I decided to put them together as a compilation. The name of the book is Dance of the Dreadlocks. Please check it out. It's a great, personal project of mine.

My Destiny
This is a blast from the past. About 15 years ago, I shot the below image for my friend, Pamela Davis-Noland for her first novel, Coffee Colored Dreams. She wanted to shoot in a yard with a white picket fence to represent the ideal dream. In our neighborhood in Houston, we randomly found a home with a white picket fence around the front yard so guerrilla style, we shot there. Pamela found out years later that this home was the home that Beyonce Knowles grew up in as a child. When Beyonce was about 15 years old, I saw her perform at a comedy club on Richmond Ave in Houston, called Just Joking, with the rest of Destiny's Child before their first album was released and I knew then that she would someday be famous. These two incidence proves that I am destined to someday meet Beyonce.
