The Rise of Victor Ross

Today we celebrate the birth of Victor Ross, with L.A. Models and Major in NYC.  He is suave, debonair and can't be stopped.  Victor Ross is on the rise!  I met Mr. Ross almost 4 years ago and have witness much growth in this male model, and I know there is much more to come.

Keep rising, Victor!
He also has a Motorola Xoom Vendetta tablet commercial currently running on television.

A Little Black Turtleneck

I previously featured male model, Brandon Espy, with L.A. Models and NTA Talents, back in October for his birthday and here are images from his latest shoot with me.  Brandon has grown tremendously since I first shot him 4 years ago and I look forward to see him continue to rise.  Here he sports what every man needs in his closet; a little black turtleneck.

Happy Birthday Frank

You may remember Frank from my past summer/ fall art project that was published in Ohlala magazine.  He is now signed with Photogenics Model Agency and is a personal trainer at Equinox in West Hollywood.  Today Frank is celebrating his birthday.  I wish him much success in the future with Photogenics and all his endeavors and a blessed birthday!

And here is an image from our first shoot that was published in Ohlala

Lana Santorelli "LUST" art exhibit - NYC

I just came across images from last year's group art exhibit that I participated in, back in May of 2010, at the Lana Santorelli gallery in New York City.  Unfortunately I was not present for the showing but the gallery posted images on their facebook page and I was able to snatch up a couple of images.  It had a great turn out and displayed some great work.  My work was amongst some great artist.

Don't Get It Twisted!

And another birthday shout out from cycle 5 of America's Next Top Model, Ebony.  Don't get it twisted!  This soul sister was fun to shoot.  I did this shoot with her about 5 or 6 years ago, so it's an oldie but it's a great representation to all my soul sisters out there!  Happy birthday, Ebony!!!

Birthday shout to Jason Olive!

My 3 favorite models of all time are Iman, Naomi Campbell and Jason Olive and I had the pleasure of working with him in 2009, which you can see from my past blog post by clicking here.  So I want to give a warm shout out to actor/ model Jason Olive on his earth day.

Behind the Music

I recently shot promotional shots for a 19 year old recording artist name Stacy, that is signed with Subliminal Records, through Universal Music Group.  Here in Los Angeles, it is always good to have your hands in the entertainment industry.  There is definitely a big market here for that so here is a sample of my work with a musician.  Stacy is very pretty.  I suggested the red hair so the hairstylist changed the color before the shoot to give that extra pop.  It is challenging for me to work with a full team; wardrobe stylist, make up artist, hair stylist and art director, because I have to wait hours before the model is ready and then the team jumps in and fix the model after every click of the shutter; but it is something I have to get use to and the results are always great.

Right after I clicked the shutter and there is our stylist!

And this is the producer and creator behind Subliminal Records, Deja the Great, shot in Hollywood.  Look for his CD to come out soon.
